Ithaca Greek Mediterranean Restaurant

We come with friends together for the lunch menu! Both pastas, Orzo and Farfalle are well prepared and tasty. The Pork Souvlaki on a pita has paired with a large portion salad and tasty grilled pork. The environment is nice and cozy for an enjoyable lunch with friends.

Great place for Greek food, we had the roast lamb dinner set, and mixed souvlaki. The lamb was very tender, and the tzatziki from the appetizer was great to have with the potatoes. The souvlaki was nice as well, but I slightly preferred the flavour of the lamb. Portion sizes were fantastic. Garlic bread and pita was fantastic with the mixed dips from the appetizer. Dessert was slightly too sweet in my opinion, I would recommend to ask for less syrup. Restaurant had unique Mediterranean style decor and service was friendly. There was a large group at the other side of the restaurant but food and service was still efficient.

enjoyed a lovely lunch here at Ithaca today. the server was quintessentially greek and the food was authentic and fantastic. the vibes in the restaurant were immaculate and everything was brilliant. all the food was cooked fresh and so so so delicious. the chicken souvlaki was juicy and cooked perfectly. for the price, the portions are reasonable. if i am ever in the area again i would certainly come back.

Absolutely incredible! The food at this Greek restaurant was just like what I had in Athens: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly authentic. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, with decor that make you feel like you’ve stepped into Greece. The staff were warm and welcoming, and their passion for Greek culture really shows. Can’t wait to go back!

This is one of our favourite restaurants in York Region. We have been several times. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service and ambiance is lovely. This time the servers were a bit too keen and kind of around too much. But other than that it was perfect.

meal comes with salad and a complentary bread. Grilled squid tasted good, it could have been a lot better if it was tender and just melt in your mouth. Overall food tastes excellent.

Excellent service! It was very busy, but they are very accommodating! . Great staff!!! We went on the weekends, and would recommend making reservations. We went for a birthday and really enjoyed the food. We ordered multiple portions of dishes including the hummus, flaming cheese, roasted lamb, seafood fettuccine prix fixe, the grilled meat platter and grilled seafood platter!!! Every entree / platter came with rice and veggies and salad ! But my favorite were their potatoes !! (FYI - You can never order too much flaming cheese !!! ) And their fresh homemade hummus was delicious (and expectedly infinitely better than the store bought stuff.) I don't eat meat but was told the lamb was the best! But if it's not your palate, I'm told the grilled meat platter was very good (even the humble chicken and sausages). What I can tell you is that the seafood platter was delicious! The grilled calamari, and swordfish were the highlights of the platter! It also came with salmon and shrimp , all of which were perfectly grilled, despite appearances and my slight skepticism. I think next time, I would order just the swordfish... It was so yum... My only gripe is the parking. It's a plaza with many restaurants and so parking is difficult. It's easy to spend more than 10 minutes just looking for parking! All in all, thank you so much for a great dining experience!!
